Wholesale

We are happy to supply wholesale customers. We have no minimum orders. Please contact us to receive  our wholesale price lists for both certified organic and non organic saffron.

We do encourage others to enter the saffron growing business, there are opportunities to supply Kiwi Saffron with product and for us to mentor new growers. Saffron is an ideal crop in areas of drought requiring no irrigation and as an alternative land use.

Kiwi Saffron is a locally owned family business. Steve and I have both been involved with both farming and horticulture for many years. Steve with kiwifruit and me with garden centre/nursery work. The why dont we grow saffron idea happened randomly and morphed from 500 corms for our own garden use into 40,000. We both motivated people, passionate about reaching the highest standards in anything we do. Its important to us to be giving our customers the best quality product for health and wellbeing. We are strongly focused on customer service. Steve and I take part in every part of the business from planting, cultivation and harvesting of our product. That way we are sure that customers a consistent, premium quality product.

 From time to time we have wwoofers to help with our harvesting and care, we really enjoy this contact with young travellers keen to learn about saffron production and our culture. It is certainly a mutually beneficial arrangement.
