Certified organic saffron corms. Saffron corms are easy to grow provided the they good drainage. Hardy to both hot and dry summer weather, cold and frost in winter. Medium grade supplied.

Plant 10cm deep x 10cm wide in full sun situation or in pots. No irrigation required. We suggest removing saucer from pot over winter so excess water will run through.

Corms flower beginning of April for a period of around six weeks. Once you see the red tips of saffron stigmas showing above closed petals it is perfect to pick. Preferably early morning while flowers are still closed. If you only have a small amount you can dry on a sunny inside windowsill on paper towel.

Liquid fertilize leavesmonthly when in active growth.
